The Directorate of Distance Education of the Tamil University, Thanjavur strictly follows the UGC policy on ODL norms and territorial jurisdiction as prescribed by the University Grants Commission and the Tamil University is not conducting any study centers/examination centers for our Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes beyond our jurisdiction. The Tamil University is also not conducting any online examination. It is pleasure to inform you that all our ODL programmes are recognized by the DEB of University Grants commission, New Delhi.
