Rules and Regulations for admission to the M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. Programmes
- For the courses offered at Tamil University, foreign nationals, PIO card holders, OCI (Dual citizens), NRI students, and NRI sponsored students may apply under the category of International Students.
- Foreign nationals including NRIs with valid passports and proper type of visa issued by the Government of India will be considered for admission.
- Academic eligibility would be evaluated after the submission of applications and necessary qualifying certificates.
- Registration at the Tamil University’s Website is essential.

Fee Structure for the Academic Programs

MA. Program
Online Registration Fee: USD 20
International Admission Fee: USD 50After the payment of International Admission Fee, students would pay the Program Fee of INR 5000.00 per Year
Exam fees and other fees are excluded

M.Phil. Program
Online Registration Fee: USD 20
International Admission Fee: USD 100After the payment of International Admission Fee, students would pay the Program Fee of INR 10000.

Ph.D. Programs
Online Registration Fee: USD 20
International Admission Fee: USD 100After the payment of International Admission Fee, students would pay the Program Fee of INR 20,000 per year

Visiting Researchers
Online Registration Fee: USD 20
Affiliation Fee USD 100 Per Visit or Per Year.
Fee Waiver or Reduction may be considered case by case based on MOUs or Agreements with the University and Faculty Members.
